I do believe in fairies! I do, I do!

Questionable passages in J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan:

Page 76: "After a time [Peter] fell asleep, and some unsteady fairies had to climb over him on their way home from an orgy."

Page 119: "What is it Peter?" [Wendy] cried, running to him, thinking he was ill. She felt him solicitously, lower down than his chest. "Where is it, Peter?"

Those are two of the main ones where, upon my reading them, I read them over again to make sure I had read them right. I finished the book tonight and enjoyed it, although it was a little strange. Definitely not the Disney version. I like the idea of kisses in the corners of our mouths that not many can get to.

According to Merriam-Webster.com, an orgy can have several different meanings, not just sexual ones, you dirty-minded ho:

1 : secret ceremonial rites held in honor of an ancient Greek or Roman deity and usually characterized by ecstatic singing and dancing
2 a : drunken revelry
b : a sexual encounter involving many people; also : an excessive sexual indulgence
3 : something that resembles an orgy in lack of control or moderation
